DRUGSTORE MONTHLY ROUNDUP: JUNE MOON

Happy end of financial year! And welcome to a new financial year which comes with a whole lot of exciting new things for Drugstore.

First up, WE HAVE A NEW WEBSITE!!! Finally! These things always take longer than you think, right? Although if you’re reading this on the blog then you’ve probably noticed something different. It’s cleaner, simpler and a better shopping experience for our Drugstore friends (that’s you) and it’s going to make it so much easier for us to bring shiny new products to you.

Speaking of shiny new products, we’ve got some great ones for you. Stay tuned for stunning handmade reclaimed copper and spotted gum gardening tools from Grafa. Travis, who creates the elegant Grafa tools, loves copper because it’s malleable enough to shape into interesting and organic curves but strong enough to last a lifetime in the garden. They’ll look great alongside the Haws watering cans and spray misters.

We’ve also got big plans for expanding our Drugstore range of products with body washes in Green Rose and Cypress, Green Rose Body Lotion and a mens’ face oil, just to name a few.

Our favourite Drugstore Beauty Oil has had a pretty good run in the press lately, featuring in Russh’s feature on botanical skin oils, while the JETSTAR inflight magazine’s feature on skin savers had the Drugstore Beard Elixir as its number one pick. Frankie magazine featured the Marvis Mouthwash in their “Frank Bits” shopping feature too.

The Drugstore team has expanded this month, with Sar finally returning to Melbourne. She’s dusted off her winter woolies after two years in Sydney and is taking over marketing and PR, along with building up the range of homeware.

The start of July sees us madly prepping for the Finders Keepers Markets at the Royal Exhibition Building in Carlton on 17, 18 and 19 July. We’re on stand D28, right by the Nicholson Street entrance so please drop in and say hi! If you bring us coffee we will most likely love you forever.

We hope you’re keeping warm in the winter chill and looking after yourself. Remember your skin needs a little extra care in the cold weather to avoid drying out so make sure you stock up on Drugstore Beauty Oil and Black Soap to keep your skin soft and supple.

Lots of love,

xx DS
